Katadyn
Katadyn, for always drinkable water
For over 90 years, the Katadyn brand has been designing and manufacturing water purification systems for most activities where water is accessible. Since then, the Swiss brand has developed and is now part of a group bearing its name. The Katadyn group is a world leader in water purification and markets water filters, disinfection solutions, desalination units, water bottles, and filtering water bottles. A reference for all questions regarding access to drinking water in complete autonomy, the brand is present internationally for water treatment everywhere. Whether for outdoor activities or at sea, for emergency preparedness, humanitarian or military missions, water becomes drinkable thanks to Katadyn products. All products from the Swiss brand, from flexible bottles to Micropur tablets, meet strict quality, reliability, and ease of use standards. They are all designed and manufactured in Switzerland. This is why many adventurers, travellers, and international humanitarian organizations trust Katadyn to face survival or emergency situations.
Katadyn products for each of your outings
In the Katadyn range, all products are designed to treat or transport water. For example, there is the BeFree 1.0 L filtering water bottle. Perfect for most activities, whether it's a multi-day trek or a day hike, this Katadyn bottle allows you to transport and store drinkable water but, more importantly, to create it when you have none left. With a treatment capacity of 2 litres of water per minute, it is the perfect solution to avoid overloaded bags while maintaining a perfect water quality for human consumption. Effective against microorganisms and in murky water, you won't want to leave this filtering bottle behind! In the same style and for groups on the go, the Vario water filter can purify up to 1 litre of water per minute (at the beginning Faster Flow) and up to 2,000 litres. No matter the state of the water, the Vario eliminates bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, and sediments to provide water intended for consumption without any health risks. Katadyn also designs various tablets to purify water. The Micropur Antichlorine tablets are made to eliminate the taste of chlorine. The principle is simple: 3 drops of Micropur in 1 litre of water removes any taste. Perfect for tap water as well as mineral water, say goodbye to unpleasant tastes.
