The Sharp End Shell Pants is a men's hardshell pants designed by Black Diamond for intensive and regular use in high-altitude mountaineering. It is meant to help you face any conditions in mountaineering, ski touring, or freeriding. Indeed, these hardshell pants are technical and highly resistant to wear and tear, providing total protection against the elements thanks to their waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane and water-repellent treatment. Thus, you will stay dry, whether caught in a snowstorm at the base camp of Everest or surprised by a spring rain at the end of the ski touring season. Their overall protection is further enhanced with high snow gaiters and Keprotec® reinforcements on the lower legs, preventing damage from edges and crampons. Additionally, these technical pants with a classic fit offer complete freedom of movement thanks to their pre-shaped knees and gusseted seat panel. Highly functional, they feature well-thought-out front zippered pockets and adjustable waist and leg hems, providing a perfect fit to allow you to move comfortably in any environment. Finally, the Sharp End Shell Pants are equipped with Recco® reflectors, offering extra safety in the mountains in case of an avalanche: this technology can help rescuers locate you faster, increasing your chances of survival. However, the Recco® technology on the most technical ski clothing can never substitute a complete avalanche safety equipment.
