MaurtenAdditions - Energy drink

Maurten Additions are a flavor additive designed to vary the taste of your Drink Mix 320, Drink Mix 160, or Gel Mix 480, without affecting the effectiveness of the Hydrogel Technology.

Repeating the same flavor for several hours of effort eventually creates a well-known taste fatigue among endurance athletes: less desire to refuel, a hint of nausea, and a dulling of taste sensitivity. The consequence is direct, carbohydrate intake decreases, and performance follows the same downward slope. The Additions break this monotony by allowing you to change flavors at your chosen moment, without having to rethink your entire refueling strategy.

This product is aimed at any endurance athlete already using a Maurten Drink Mix or Gel Mix, from the intermediate runner preparing for their first marathon to the expert triathlete engaged in a long-distance race, as soon as the effort exceeds two to three hours and taste fatigue becomes a real risk for refueling.

• Compatible with Drink Mix 320, Drink Mix 160, and Gel Mix 480: a new flavor to add to your usual refueling

• No compromise on Hydrogel Technology: the effectiveness of the mix remains intact

• Free use, at the time and frequency chosen by each athlete

• Direct response to taste fatigue: less loss of motivation, less nausea, preserved taste sensitivity
