The Spine Hoody Jacket by Orage is a lightweight and insulating women's hybrid jacket with a hood, designed for intense days in the mountains. Its Octa mesh insulation has a real talent: it retains heat while allowing moisture to escape, so you don't end up soaked during the ascent.
On the outside, the EnduraTread ripstop fabric resists tearing, which is handy when a branch or a ski edge gets too close. The 2-way stretch and articulated elbows follow every movement, from planting poles to making a turn on a steep slope. The adjustable hood tightens when the wind picks up on the ridge, and the PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment makes light moisture bead up. It is made from recycled polyamide.
It is designed for advanced to expert skiers who venture off-piste and pay attention to their layering system. Lightweight and compressible, it fits in the bag and comes out at the right moment, often during a summit break.
