The Downwool 180 Vest by Ortovox is a men's synthetic vest filled with DownWool® by Grüezi Bag®, a blend of 70% down and 30% Alpine wool. Worn alone or under a jacket, it keeps the torso warm all year round, even in wet conditions.

Weighing 235 g and equipped with a strap storage bag, this vest is easily forgotten in the pack until the first chilly break. The wool absorbs moisture and supports the loft of the down, providing even warmth without overheating. The recycled polyamide fabric is windproof and sheds light rain, and the extended back covers the lower back.

It is designed for intermediate to expert practitioners of ski touring, freeriding, or mountaineering, who want to protect the torso without restricting the arms, both during activity and rest. Tested and recommended by the German Mountain and Ski Guides Association (VDBS).
