With a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, the AQUAPROOF membrane keeps rain out while allowing water vapour to escape. The adjustable hood and adjustable cuffs help limit wind and water ingress. Reflective details on the front and back improve visibility in low light.

For outings in cold, wet weather, the two pieces can be worn together: the fleece provides insulation under the outer jacket. In cool, dry weather, it can be worn on its own. When temperatures rise, the outer jacket can be worn alone in the rain.
