SmithMirage - Ski helmet

The Mirage helmet, designed by the brand Smith, is a ski helmet with In-Mold construction that will effectively protect your head during your skiing days. Thanks to the Dial Fit system, you can precisely and easily adjust your helmet to your head using a dial. The Mirage features a long-fur warm liner, ideal for keeping your ears and head warm when temperatures are low. This ski helmet has 14 vents to allow air to circulate freely, ensuring significant comfort even during the most intense descents or ascents.

Aerocore™ construction with Koroyd®: This construction combines materials such as EPS (expanded polystyrene) and Koroyd®, a new material with extremely efficient and consistent energy absorption properties, far exceeding international standards. With the revolutionary Koroyd® material, upon impact, the cores crush in a completely controlled manner, thereby reducing the final trauma. The combination of the two materials also allows for a greater number of ventilation points around the helmet, ensuring optimal air circulation without compromising safety.

AirEvac 2 ventilation: The AirEvac 2 ventilation developed by Smith ensures that your helmet and goggles work as a single system, expelling hot and humid air from the goggle lens through the helmet's climate control system. Smith helmets are designed to fit perfectly with the curvature of the goggle lens, providing precise alignment of the two systems. Thus, during exertion, the hot air accumulated in the goggles is expelled as far away as possible through the AirEvac 2 EPS ventilation channels distributed in the helmet.

In-Mold: This is a helmet construction technology that relies on the use of an injected EPS shell (closed-cell expanded foam) that absorbs and diffuses impact. This shell is covered with a polycarbonate sheet that protects the helmet and the head!
