CampX-Dream - Piolets

The X-Dream is an ice axe designed by the brand Camp, ideal for modern technical ice climbing, such as your icefall climbing sessions in Chamonix, for example. With its 3 interchangeable blades, the X-Dream ice axe is highly versatile, which is confirmed by its patented handle with variable inclination made from ultra-resistant material. Additionally, a simple screw head allows you to change the inclination of the handle and the blade, enabling you to switch from ice mode (from 48° to 100° for a natural swing and good penetration) to dry mode (from 60° to 150° for greater downward traction) in no time. Furthermore, specific interchangeable inserts allow for micrometric adjustments at the index and handle (up to 3 mm less) of the X-Dream. Moreover, the X-Dream is equipped with a specific grip on the shaft, ideal for ice ascents, even when wet. Finally, you will appreciate the different blades of the X-Dream ice axe. The first, the Mixed blade, is the most versatile, with geometry and serration offering excellent performance on ice as well as on rock. The slightly protruding rear part acts as a small hammer. The second, the Ice blade, is dedicated to ice use, with an integrated hammer for precise and effective strikes. The last, the Race, offers torsional robustness, thanks to aggressive serration and a particularly hooked tip, ideal for rock anchors and thus for dry-tooling.
