To care for and extend the life of your leather hiking boots, Meindl's Sportwax waterproofing cream is ideal!

This waterproofing cream can be used on leather boots with or without a waterproof membrane (such as Gore-Tex).

This beeswax-based cream is suitable for all leather boots, especially those with a waxed finish. Sportwax does not affect the breathability of the boot and helps maintain the leather.

Regular treatment of the leather with Sportwax cream helps it retain its shape and last longer.

Application method:

• Clean the boots (do not machine wash),
• Dry the boots by stuffing them with newspaper. Be careful not to speed up the drying process by exposing them to the sun or a radiator. Leather is very sensitive to heat and could become damaged and brittle.
• Apply the cream to boots that are still slightly damp for better effectiveness. The pores will still be open, allowing the cream to penetrate the leather more deeply.
• Polish with a sponge or cloth.

Note: The leather may darken slightly after application. It is recommended to test on a hidden area first.
