Technical and complete, the Couloir Harness is ideal for technical routes in high mountains, crevassed ski terrain, or intermediate-level glacier climbs. Highly compressible, it reduces to the size of an orange and can easily be stored at the bottom of a bag or in a jacket pocket. The Dynex monoband Vary-width webbing construction of this Black Diamond harness provides lightness and durability, all without frills. A quick-release buckle on the waistband with easy-to-adjust tabs and simple leg loops allow it to be put on while keeping skis or crampons on your feet.
The Couloir Harness also includes the Infinity belay loop. This loop, patented by Black Diamond, is durable, low-volume, and prevents unintentional twisting due to the stitching. Well-equipped, it includes two Ice Clipper slots on the waistband and one slot on each leg loop to reduce metallic noises and clinks. Practical for long approach hikes and gentle glacier progressions. Finally, two gear loops made of webbing allow you to organize ropes, extra carabiners, and other additional accessories.
