Designed for ski touring and long expeditions, the Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell is a women's ski jacket from Black Diamond that combines the imper-breathable solution BD.Dry™ with a breathable softshell membrane in strategic areas. Its features allow it to be worn both uphill and downhill. Indeed, the Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell has a breathable softshell membrane for effective thermal regulation. The shoulders, chest, and hood are protected by the exclusive BD.dry™ imper-breathable solution. All fabrics benefit from the PFC-free GTT (Green Theme Technology) Empel treatment, an eco-friendly, more durable, and higher-performing water-repellent treatment. It also features a touch of four-way stretch for increased mobility to free movements during both skinning uphill and dynamic descents. An innovative front-centered zipper incorporates a mesh panel for better ventilation during the ascent. The collar is equipped with a perforated panel to offer better breathability at the mouth while protecting the face from icy air. The Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell is also equipped with two chest pockets compatible with a harness and capable of holding climbing skins, an interior media pocket, and a helmet-compatible hood. The sleeves with Velcro closure also have a light integrated cuff at the wrist for enhanced protection.
