The upper of the Cyklon is made of breathable anti-abrasion mesh with heat-sealed TPU reinforcements in the most exposed areas. In other words, your foot breathes while being protected, especially with the shock-resistant toe caps that equip this La Sportiva shoe. Underfoot, the FriXion® White sole is ultra-grippy and highly durable. It is particularly effective on soft and muddy terrains. The Memlex EVA midsole provides good cushioning and stabilizes the foot, while the Ortholite® Mountain Running insole further enhances the comfort of this pair. Finally, the Cyklon benefits from the Impact Brake System technology which absorbs ground impact, boosts traction uphill, and improves grip downhill.
