The Guardian 50 by Ferrino is much more than just a mountaineering backpack. Resulting from a collaboration with technicians and doctors from the helicopter rescue service in the Valle D’Aosta region, this backpack is designed to meet the demands of first aid in the mountains. Equipped to provide effective assistance, it is the choice of the Italian National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps.
The backpack is made from Cordura® 500D, a fabric known for its resilience, reinforced with a laminated fabric for optimal durability. Its ergonomic and ultra-breathable back is made of mesh fabric, with dual-density padding for exceptional carrying comfort. A polyethylene panel with an internal stiffener ensures even weight distribution and increased carrying stability.
With accessories such as the winch handle, a removable RECCO reflector, and a removable thigh harness with aluminum safety buckles, this backpack is designed for the mountains. The waterproof zippers and compatibility with the H2 hydration control system add to its functionality. Ideal for mountaineers seeking a reliable and technical companion for their dizzying adventures.
