Specifically designed for women suffering from Hallux Valgus (or bunions), the Hanwag Klarsby Bunion Lady GTX is a mid-height walking shoe combining comfort, stability, and protection, even on wet trails. Thanks to its anatomically adapted fit, it effectively relieves sensitive areas while ensuring a smooth and natural walk.

Its Bunion Last shape offers more space around the big toe joint and toes, thus limiting friction and pressure that can worsen pain. The increased volume at the front of the foot, along with a stiffer forefoot, reduces the range of motion at the metatarsophalangeal joints, thereby decreasing stress on the big toe joint.

The Endurance Hike Bunion sole, specially designed to accompany this shape, ensures stability, cushioning, and long-lasting comfort thanks to a generously cushioned PU midsole. Another advantage: no seams are present on the inner foot area, even under the TPU protective band, to prevent any pressure points or irritation.

Comfortable ghillie lacing, flexible textile loops that adapt to the foot's natural movement, extra padding inside between the leather and the lining... every detail has been designed to offer optimal comfort to hikers prone to bunions, without compromising on performance.
