It allows rope ascent in compliance with EN 567 / EN 12841-B standards (ascender mode)
It can be used as a simple rope pulley for lifting or moving a load in compliance with EN 12278 standards (rope pulley mode)
The integrated ball-bearing sheave can be used as a direct link to facilitate rope ascent or to lift a person without additional connectors (ascender/pulley mode)
It allows direct load recovery, the creation of pulley systems, and the lifting or self-lifting of a person, for example, in the event of a crevasse fall (recovery pulley mode)
In rope pulley mode, the rope is free to run in both directions, while in recovery pulley mode it is free to run in one direction and locks in the opposite direction
In recovery pulley mode, it is possible to lower the recovered load using the cord attached to the device's cam
