Monnet
Monnet: by your side during all your sporting sessions
The company Monnet was born in the 1930s in Montceau Les Mines, the historical cradle of French textiles. Drawing on the expertise of the Burgundians, François Monnet decided to become a manufacturer of his own haberdashery and button-making.
With the emergence of new ski resorts and the enthusiasm surrounding them, Mr. Monnet decided to shift his textile production towards mountain sports. This marked the beginning of the first models of ski socks Monnet.
Monnet products quickly gained recognition among many athletes. The brand has been the exclusive supplier to the French ski teams. Numerous gold medalists are equipped with these French socks. Since 2013, Monnet has been the official sock supplier for the French Nordic ski teams. Martin Fourcade, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, and many others are equipped with these iconic socks.
The socks range has rapidly expanded, with the brand quickly developing new models of hiking socks and trail-running socks. For several decades, the brand has been in contact with high-level athletes. This proximity to industry experts and athletes allows it to develop high-performance products within its research offices.
Monnet: choose technicality for your feet
All sport socks for men and women Monnet are made in France since their inception. This is what gives the brand its reputation: it relies on French expertise to produce high-quality products. The brand also focuses on the attractive designs of its socks. What we particularly love about Monnet socks are the associated technologies. The French brand selects high-quality fibers for its products, such as merino wool or durable synthetic fibers.
Their socks are uniquely designed to fit the morphology of your foot perfectly, thanks to their numerous patented technologies. For instance, the innovative Heat Protech Technology® allows for a heating system to be integrated into your ski sock. Or the Gel Protect Technology® which offers removable silicone gel protection for sensitive areas. Our experts have selected their favorite pairs of Monnet socks for their mountain adventures:
