Smartwool : choose comfort for your adventures
Smartwool was founded in 1994 by ski instructors from New England. For the American brand, outdoor activities are a way to recharge and reconnect with nature. It is therefore very important to be equipped with men's clothing and women's clothing of quality to fully enjoy the nature that surrounds us. The founders had one idea in mind: to design technical ski socks that keep your feet warm so you can ski longer without freezing your toes.
The product range has expanded over the years. The brand now offers technical underwear, beanies, and gloves. Comfort remains the key element in the design of its products. The brand aims to push the boundaries of experience and offer adventurers products like no other.
Smartwool clothing is designed to help you go far in your adventures while feeling good. With these clothes, live your adventures as you wish and enjoy only the landscapes around you and the freshly fallen powder.
Smartwool: merino wool socks and clothing
Merino wool, a natural fibre known for its many technical properties, has been the main material of all its products since the brand's inception. Moisture-wicking, temperature regulation, and odour-resistant properties: this natural material is a high-performance fibre for outdoor adventures.
That’s why it is used in almost all the brand's products. Our experts have selected their favourite products for their mountain adventures:
To brave the cold in winter during your running sessions, we recommend the PhD Run Cold Weather Mid Crew socks. Made from merino wool, your feet will stay ideally warm and dry throughout your outing.
If you prefer hiking, we suggest the Performance Hike Full Cushion Crew socks. Smartwool has thought of your comfort and equipped them with cushioning throughout the sock. Protection and warmth will be guaranteed!
Finally, to keep your hands warm, no matter your activities, opt for the Merino 250 Glove. It’s a must-have for your cross-country skiing outings or Sunday strolls.
