Overstim.s: Energy for athletes for over 40 years
For over 40 years now, Overstim.s products have been supporting athletes around the world, providing them with nutrition and hydration solutions during their activities thanks to the nutritional excellence of their products and their universally recognised effectiveness. Indeed, it was in the early 1980s that the story of this Breton family business began, at a time when sports nutrition was still in its infancy, consisting of a few products poorly suited to physical effort and whose effects on the body were not optimal. Lacking an offer tailored to his personal needs and sporting practice, Daniel de Saint Ouen, an accomplished athlete but above all a nutrition enthusiast, decided to create his own products to meet his needs. His first project was to find a solution to the real problem of pre-exercise nutrition. His idea was to find an alternative to the famous pasta dish consumed no more than 3 hours before the start of competitions. After numerous tests and field experiments, he undoubtedly developed the most iconic product in the Overstim.s range: the famous Gatosport. Quickly, his first attempt met with great success among athletes and it is still relevant today at the breakfast tables of many practitioners. He then shared his discovery but above all his passion for sports nutrition at the biggest sporting events on the planet: from the legendary Iron Man events including those in Hawaii and Embrun, to the most iconic cycling races like the Tour de France, as well as the greatest Alpine passes such as Tourmalet, Galibier, and the mythical Alpe d'Huez. Since then, the story of Overstim.s continues to thrive and shows no signs of stopping!
