Peak Performance: Technical Excellence in the Mountains Since 1986

The story of Peak Performance began in 1986, in the heart of the small town of Åre in northern Sweden. Two friends, passionate about skiing, were sitting on a chairlift. About to test a new range of ski clothing, they wondered why it wasn't possible to create high-performance clothing for exploring the peaks. 

These two enthusiasts decided to create their own range of ski clothing: high-performance jackets and trousers designed for extreme weather conditions. The founders of Peak Performance had one idea in mind: to create functional, high-performance clothing with a simple design. Challenge accepted! They thus decided to open their first store in the very town of Åre. 

Today, the Peak Performance brand enjoys an excellent reputation in the skiing world. Its clothing is renowned for its performance and resistance to cold and extreme weather conditions. The brand collaborates with numerous skiers, such as Hedwig Wessel, a professional skier who has won several stages on the Freeride World Tour. She has even become one of the major partners of this iconic competition. This collaboration with top-level athletes further proves the excellent reputation of Peak Performance clothing.
