The brand Jack Wolfskin was founded in 1981 by Ulrich Dausien in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Initially specialising in the design and manufacture of clothing for mountain sports, its range has expanded to include hiking shoes, sleeping bags, and backpacks. It’s easy to recognise Jack Wolfskin products on the trails: they all feature the famous logo depicting a wolf's paw print.

Since its inception, the brand has experienced significant growth and increasing success. Over the years, the German brand has developed iconic products such as the Century jacket and the Caribou city backpack.

For its fleeces, Jack Wolfskin relies on recycled polyester fibre and its Nanuk Ecosphere technology. The Gecko fleece has been made in an eco-friendly manner without compromising on warmth.
