Lacal: Two Mountain Enthusiasts with a Common Goal
Founded in 2020, Lacal is born from a shared vision. Lake and Pascal Guidetti, the founders, first met at the ISPO trade show in Munich. Two men, one an industrialist in outdoor sports living in Ningbo in the Tianming mountains of eastern China, the other developing ideas at the foot of the Vercors in the French Alps for over 20 years. At first glance, nothing seems to connect them, except a shared passion for mountain hiking and walking. It is on a foundation of trust between the two men that the story of Lacal begins, with the “La” from Lake and the “cal” from Pascal.
Lacal Poles: More Than Just Simple Poles
Wishing to provide the best equipment to fellow enthusiasts who, like them, explore the most remote trails, Lake and Pascal, through their shared expertise and desire to combine their skills, create the Lacal hiking poles. Lightweight, innovative, and environmentally friendly, the first Lacal poles come to life.
