Its fitted Alpine Fit and pre-shaped knees accompany movements in technical passages, while the long two-way YKK® AquaGuard® side zippers facilitate ventilation and make it easier to put on or take off the trousers. The waistband features a double snap button and loops for adding suspenders as needed.

Designed for those seeking protective and versatile trousers for regular mountain use, the Makalu features reinforced lower legs and an adjustable hem to fit over mountain boots. Two zipped side pockets complete the ensemble, while its weight of 400 g allows for protective gear without excessively weighing down the outfit.
