Inspired by the Baltoro, the Jokla Jacket women's down jacket from Mountain Equipment rethinks the construction of lightweight down jackets to offer more warmth. Its offset down compartments in two layers minimize the thermal bridges found in traditional seam areas. An inner heat-reflective layer further enhances insulation, for a weight barely higher than that of a classic quilted construction. With its 183 g of goose down with a fill power of at least 800 cuin, the Jokla combines warmth and low bulk. Its Drilite® Loft 20D outer fabric, windproof and water-repellent, reduces exposure to the elements. The helmet-compatible insulated hood and high collar complete the protection during mountain outings.

Weighing only 490 g, it accompanies mountaineers and ski touring enthusiasts during winter ascents and high mountain itineraries. Packable into its side pocket, it can be easily carried in a backpack or attached to a harness with its integrated loop.
