Reactiv 1-3 Glare Control

Reactiv or photochromic is Julbo's most advanced lens technology. They adapt quickly to lighting conditions, brightening when the weather is cloudy and darkening when it's sunny. The Reactiv 1-3 Glare Control was developed to offer visual comfort in everyday life. It is very versatile and has a slight polarization (55%) that provides balanced reflection management, preventing glare, while being compatible with screen reading.

Light Transmission Rate (VLT): 46% to 10%

Regarding sunlight conditions:

Category 0 lenses are recommended for very low light conditions or evening use. The light transmission rate (VLT) is between 80% and 100%.
Category 1 lenses are recommended for low light conditions or cloudy weather. The light transmission rate (VLT) is between 43% and 80%.
Category 2 lenses are recommended for medium light conditions or partially sunny weather. The light transmission rate (VLT) is between 18% and 43%.
Category 3 lenses are recommended for high light conditions or sunny weather. The light transmission rate (VLT) is between 8% and 18%.
Category 4 lenses are recommended for very high light conditions, such as in high mountains. The light transmission rate (VLT) is between 3% and 8%.
