For cold high-altitude nights, the Snowline sleeping bag from Mountain Equipment, here in long version, uses goose down with at least 800 fill power: this high loft capacity allows it to trap insulating air.

The 10 denier Windstopper® fabric cuts the wind, allows water vapor to pass through, and causes water to bead on the surface. The V-shaped baffles on the torso limit thermal bridges, while the EXL® elastic seams bring the lining closer to the body to reduce air spaces that need to be warmed.

In mountaineering or expeditions, its cut allows space for additional layers, including a down jacket. The Good Night's Sleep temperature rated at -23 °C is a guideline from the brand for an experienced user, not a standardized comfort temperature.
