How to choose your Icebreaker Base Layers wisely?
The Icebreaker Base Layers are the first layer that will be in contact with your skin: boxers, briefs, sports bras, or long-sleeved technical underwear. Icebreaker boxers and sports bras generally have a weight of 120 to 150, which is ideal for staying cool in both winter and summer. For more active sports activities like ski touring, we recommend a weight of 200 to 250, which are extremely versatile base layers.
Some ranges of Icebreaker Base Layers are more suited to certain sports activities. They do not all use the same technologies and are not made from the same materials. For cooler days, opt for 100% merino base layers; for warmer days or more intense activities, merino and natural fibre base layers are recommended.
